The first time I wore Capria, she was just a month old. My body was exhausted and tired but my mind and heart wanted her close. Aunt Jen had to walk me through out to properly "wrap her" about 50 times.

Babywearing was such a staple in our life. It's how I managed to make dinner, put on make-up, go on outings and more. And honestly, it was how I got over a little built of mom guilt every day for the fear of never being enough -- enough time with her everyday, enough books read, enough laughter, enough fun memories, enough love, enough snuffles. The slings/wraps were magic to me. They made me slow down and enjoy each moment - smell her hair, kiss her forehead and hold her just a little longer. They gave me a moment to breathe. To be thankful.

As soon as she was about 10 months old and starting to walk, the day came when she didn't want to be worn any longer. I still miss that closeness and warmth!
