A lot of people say that newborns are all too-consuming but we have adored how consuming she is. We’re experiencing Capria as she unfolds before us, and changes day to day — sometimes even hour to hour. This month has been more than our favorite time. It’s been the privilege of a lifetime. She is truly such a good, sweet baby.
Vitals:
10 and 1/2 pounds
22 inches long
Highlights:
Such an easy baby… the first few weeks she was a sleepy, sweet lump and now she’s already developing more of a personality
Recently decided she likes the bath
Had her very first smile – at Daddy!
Grins:
Eskimo kisses
Music (especially the “Happy birthday” song and Hootie and the Blowfish)
Being read to by Sophia
Eating (~3-5 ounces of breastmilk every 2-3 hours)
Having visitors
Gripes:
Outfit changes (but that hasn’t stopped mom….)
Being swaddled
Favorite Outings:
Cousin Kayla’s 1st birthday
Church (and sleeping right through it)
Cousin Sarah’s Sweet Sixteen
Thanksgiving x2 at Mimi’s & Uncle Jimmy’s
